Keep them working.

Assign one companion to repair the generator, then defend them. If attacked, they stop working and fight back; saved repair resumes once nearby attackers are cleared. Restored power drains the enclosed basement and unlocks rooms upstairs. Follow its narrow service corridor to the case, then return by the same stairs. The horde arrives in 1:45—get back to the train before it overwhelms the station.
